It’s been over six months and daaaaaaaammn Vinnie & Dimebag’s limo is almost done!!! Enrique & his all-star team at Platinum Big Toys in Corona, CA are putting finishing touches on it now, but holy shit it’s already so impressive. It still blows my mind to see it BECOMING. Since my last update, a LOT has happened. Killer sound system is in (thanX to our friends at Sony!), leather seats looking all sexy, stainless steel ceiling dripping w changing lights, movable TV screen partition, all new A/C/heating & electric system, new flooring, antenna, and sleek exterior lights. Did you see the new lit up bar section w all YOUR names engraved on the back panel spanning the entire width? It changes colors and totally stands out! Instead of putting this in the trunk like we initially planned, it’s WAY f’in cooler inside as a main centerpiece so that way it becomes a focal point! ThanX to Enrique for that brilliant idea! Having your names forever a part of this historic limo means the world to me. Without YOUR help NONE of this would be possible. But the part that made my arm hairs stand up, and when I first saw it, my heart skipped a beat, was that back center memorial display honoring Vinnie & Dimebag. That was also Enrique’s idea too! The tribute I wrote is on an inch think acrylic that got engraved, lit up and shows the handsome faces of Big Vin & Dime. I asked famous rock photographer & close friend of mine & the brothers, Chad Lee, for images that would proudly be shown off in a loving display of power. What’s next? Some easy body shop touch ups, re-chrome original rims, new tires, engrave CFH logos on back bench, finish lighting, add front area 2nd seat, successfully pass California limousine safety certifications, add kick ass alarm system, cameras, and have my talented artist friend Dan Scholz from Affliction paint a big CFH on the front hood so that way it can be easily identifiable.
