NEW VIDEO| "Get out of my uterus! Stop asking when I'm going to have kids!" People who know me personally know that I'm pretty much an open book. But there's one question that I'm getting tired of answering: when I'm planning on having a baby. Look, I totally get it. As a woman in her 30s who's been married for some time, it's pretty inevitable that I'd get asked. But here's the thing: A woman's body, along with her reproductive choices, are her prerogative. And thus, it's really none of your business when (or if!) she's going to have children. Furthermore, us women are SO MUCH MORE than our potential ability to reproduce. I mean, there are so many other conversations we could be having! Why such a focus on this one thing?! So please... don't ask. Me, or any other woman in your life. Yes, I know you're curious. Yes, I know you don't mean any harm by asking. And yes, I know your questions come from place of caring, or concern. But no... you really shouldn't ask. For many reasons. And in this video, I explain them. Let's stop policing women's bodies and let them exercise their reproductive rights without scrutiny.
