In this video I’m using the supplies from the #124 ScrawlrBox to create a finished artwork, following tips and techniques from the ScrawlrZine to explore metallic effects and glowing details. This month’s #ScrawlrChallenge is all about letting your imagination take flight, using metallic watercolours, reflective ink, and high-contrast paper to play with light, shimmer, shine, and movement. Inspired by our featured artist, laura Basova, this box is perfect for adding luminous accents and magical details to your art. I’ll be working with the Derwent Metallic Paint Pan Set, Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens in Silver and Gold, and the mixed media pad with black and white paper, experimenting with layering, highlights, contrast, and texture to really push those metallic effects.
