Before enjoying the London walk in 4K HDR we will need to head towards Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus via Carnaby Street. 00:00 - Shaftesbury avenue: The avenue is generally considered the heart of London's West End theatre district, with the Lyric, Apollo, Gielgud and Sondheim theatres clustered together on the west side of the road between Piccadilly Circus and Charing Cross Road. 04:16 - Neal's Yard: Neal's Yard is a small alley in London's Covent Garden between Shorts Gardens and Monmouth Street which opens into a courtyard. It is named after the 17th century developer, Thomas Neale 09:47 - Covent Garden: A shopping and entertainment hub in London's West End, Covent Garden centres on the elegant, car-free Piazza, home to fashion stores, craft stalls at the Apple Market, and the Royal Opera House. Street entertainers perform by 17th-century St. Paul’s Church, and the London Transport Museum houses vintage vehicles. Upscale restaurants serve European cuisines, and nearby theatres draw crowds for plays and musicals 24:15 - Leicester Square: Is a pedestrianised square in the West End of London, England. It was laid out in 1670 as Leicester Fields, which was named after the recently built Leicester House, itself named after Robert Sidney, 2nd Earl of Leicester 30:35 - Piccadilly Circus: s a road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster. It was built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly. It is named after George, the Prince Regent and was laid out under the direction of the architect John Nash and James Burton. 38:50 - Kingly Court / Carnaby Road : Three-storey venue featuring an eclectic array of bars & restaurants, plus a courtyard with seating. 46:46 - London Oxford Street I would greatly appreciate your support for my channel by joining the membership or buy me a coffee, if it is within your means MEMBERSHIP: / @unseenwalkingtours Buy me a Coffee: https://ko-fi.com/londonwalkingtour 🌙 Night Walk HDR: • Playlist 🌉 London City Walk: • Playlist 📍London Attractions: • Playlist 📚 Best Books - London Walks 📚 London by Joolz Guides: https://amzn.to/3UcfrpB London Walking Tours: https://amzn.to/3m5bRkx Walking London's Streets: https://amzn.to/3UbWZ05 🎥 Filming Equipment 📷 Camera: https://amzn.to/3m6zCsi 🤳 Gimbal: https://amzn.to/3ZE87UJ
