If you're up for a cool camping experience, check out Blue Beach Island.🏝️ It's a small island nestled in the Nilwella area, between Dickwella and Tangalle in the Matara District of the Southern Province. This private property is connected to the mainland by a narrow layer of sand, allowing access to the island. However, keep in mind during certain times of the year, this sandy path is covered by sea waves. Blue Beach Island offers 7 camping sites, each offering a stunning view. When you arrive for your night out, head to the caretaker's place first – they'll guide you to the camping site. The usual check-in time is around 4-5 pm, and you're free to chill until the next day, with check-out at 10-11 am. If you're driving, no worries – you can park your vehicle at the caretaker's spot.
