This was my first time ever attending the Quartzsite Truck Camper Rally, and I wasn’t sure what to expect — especially showing up in my 1995 Casita travel trailer surrounded by truck campers. I packed up, left camp, and headed south to Arizona not knowing if I’d even be welcomed in. The drive down felt heavy, but once I arrived, the desert opened up into rows of rigs, off-grid builds, solar setups, and truck campers from all over the country.
