After graduating in 1974, he participated in the TVB singing competition show "Voice of the Night," where he made it to the finals with his cover of "Congratulations." This success led him to move to Hong Kong to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. In 1976, he caught the eye of TVB's renowned producer Kam Kwok-leung and starred in his first drama series, "Teenager." He became very popular at that time. Louie Castro was very active in the variety show "Enjoy Yourself Tonight," and the comedy skit "Shrimp Daddy," in which he collaborated with Lo Hoi-pang and Kiki Sheung, became one of the longest-running skits in the show. Louie is not only an outstanding singer and actor but also a versatile program host and music producer. His rich experience and remarkable achievements in the entertainment industry have made him a beloved idol in the hearts of many viewers. With his unique voice and heartfelt singing style, he has won the love and admiration of countless fans.
