Driver’s Eye View (Austria) - Ferlach Museum Railcar & Steam on the Rosentalbahn

Having enjoyed our tour of Ferlach Museum, the day still had one more treat in store for us as Electric Railcar - BiET 22 104 waited to transport our group from the museum to the Ferlach Rosentalbahn station. The beautifully restored railcar was constructed in 1912 by the Graz Waggon Factory, the driver kindly allowed me to place a camera in the cab for us all to enjoy his unique view of the line. Steam locomotive No. 88.103 was simmering in the platform at the Rosentalbahn station with its train of vintage carriages ready for the run back to Weizelsdorf. Once again the footplate crew kindly allowed me to mount a camera on their engine.
