AUTOS DE FRANCE 2024 review (ft Renault 4CV)

We're off to Autos de France 2024 at Oulton Park in today's video, but not before spending some time prepping & testing our Renault 4CV, including a pleasant drive out. While out for a drive we met up with dad in his MGB for a few fly-bys, the youthful assistant doing the camera work! This was the second running of Autos de France, a one-day French car event held at the Oulton Park racing circuit. A very interesting mix of cars turned up, some modern, many old, and naturally the latter were the main focus of this video for the Old Classic Car channel. A number of races also took place throughout the day (including Citroen 2CV racing), a little of which I feature, mainly though I focus on the road cars on display in the circuit's infield areas. Highlights this year include example(s) of Citroen GS, a twin-engined 2CV (plus a great many regular 2CVs), a Peugeot 504 estate, Renault 16, Citroen SM, a rare Oltcit, and a very original Citroen DS21. Non-French classic cars spotted included a 1970s TVR and a wonderful Lancia Flavia saloon on a trailer. If you're a fan of classic cars, French cars in particular, I hope this video is of interest.
