In this video, we talk about urinary incontinence during pregnancy, an embarrassing and distressing condition many women can develop. Why would you get incontinence after childbirth or urinary incontinence during pregnancy? We look at why this condition could develop and affect activities afterwards. As a result, women who have urinary incontinence in pregnancy could develop urinary incontinence during exercise or other activities. Many women who experience embarrassing bladder leakage could also have urinary incontinence during sex and urinary incontinence during running. We know that some types of urinary incontinence in women from pregnancy can be treated by pelvic floor exercises after birth. Most women/couples know of examples like bladder leaking urine while you are coughing or laughing. We'll look at how/why it could happen from pregnancy, or affect activities afterwards like exercise or sexual intercourse. Many women with this condition do not realise it can be treated and endure the resulting impact of the condition on both their mental and physical health.
