Hemp Family | A Sustainable Concept | Ep. 1

Hemp Family is a concept which is the basic backbone of our community. As our reusable hemp sanitary pads have been approved as per IS 5405:1980 from Ahmedabad Textile Industry's Research Association, we are ready to launch them in the market. But who will make them? How are they related to the Hemp Family? We are aiming for employing the whole family where the husband will cultivate the hemp plant while his wife will stitch and assemble the reusable hemp sanitary pads so that we can spread to the rest of the women in the world making it a fair economic model not just for the farmers but for their families as well. This episode is more like a journey of the hemp family about how they were introduced with hemp. You will hear a lot about hemp chutney which is traditionally consumed in the himalayan villages as a staple diet. We introduce Sanket Jain and Priya Jain as our first Hemp Family. We shall talk to them about how they were introduced to hemp and how much informed our today's farmer is about the industrial, cultural and ayurvedic usages of hemp.
