Edmonton is the second largest city in Alberta and it has faced a HUGE growth in population in the last couple of years. Being the provincial capital, Edmonton does have an abundance of economic and cultural activities going on, while still considered to be a fairly affordable large city in Canada. Sitting right on the North Saskatchewan River, Edmonton has an abundance of green space within their River Valley, it has a great entertainment district downtown and of course is know for West Edmonton Mall, the largest retail space in all of Canada!
