The cabbage rolls I make are based on a recipe introduced on NHK's Today's Cooking programme on TV. Please refer to the link below if you like. I roll three layers of cabbage, so even if the cabbage has been simmered for a long time and has become thick, it does not easily fall apart, The cabbage rolls are so tender and tasty that you can even cut them with chopsticks. The cabbage is gently flavoured with the sweet taste of the meat alone, without any consommé. It takes a long time to cook, but please take your time and try making it.
