A Panoramic from Polychrome Pass In Denali, NP

The vast expanse of Denali National Park is either designated wilderness and/or wildlife preserve. There is one road into the park, about 90 miles long, and many of the 800,000 visitors to the park buy a ticket and ride the official park buses to see the wildness from the bus windows. The Polychrome Pass one place "the tourists" can get out and stretch their legs, maybe taking a short hike on a trail. Until one gets away from the buses, the roads, the trails, and the campgrounds, a visit to the park is often a, sometimes noisy, human and cultural scene as much as it is a wilderness experience. It is raining this day, July 12, 2019, which we were greatly thankful for, because it cleared the air. I will say more about Polychrome pass in the notes to a later video.
