What does the Lord require of us? We read in Micah 6:8 "He has shown you O man what is good, and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?" That is what God requires of us, that we repent, turn away from our own ways, from our evil ways, and follow after Jesus Christ; that we stop sinning, be holy, live righteously, have mercy on other people, and that we walk humbly with our God. Repent and be baptized, be filled with a Holy Spirit and be led by the Holy Spirit. Those who are being led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God. He requires that we obey Him and humbly walk with Him, follow Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the way and the truth and the life, obey Him and follow Him and you will be pleasing to God.
