When I was 19, I was living on a farm with a river, and we would bathe in the river every day. And then I started to connect with the river. But I was very afraid of swimming, right? Of going to places where there was no foothold. My friends tried to teach me, but I couldn't. And then I started to... to ask Cabocla Jurema, right? For her, I wanted to learn how to swim. And then I kept asking for some time, praying like that... And then one day I dreamed that I was swimming. And at the same time that it was me who was swimming, it was a cabocla who was swimming. And then I woke up and went to the river. AND I SWAM And it all depends on how we connect with it. If we want to connect with nature, it is simply an act of connecting with nature. For me, ancestral intelligence is knowing how to live in harmony with nature. I was very afraid of swimming. and... I swam. I am Yala, I am 24 years old, I am an art educator, an artist. Many times the Western way of man, right, having lived until now, of capitalism, has harmed not only nature, but people themselves, right? Like self-sabotage.
