From Classroom to Circuit 🏁 | Year 5 Formula Ethara at Arcadia British School @arcadiaschool3226 ​

What happens when creativity, engineering, and real-world learning come together? You get Formula Ethara at Arcadia School. Our Year 05 students took part in an exciting STREAM engineering project where learning moved far beyond the classroom. 🔹 Part One focused on design and innovation. Students created their own Formula Ethara car bodies, selecting colours, logos, and sponsors using Canva, while integrating learning across STREAM, Computing, and Art. They then engineered the car chassis and engine housing, assembling their final models and using AI tools to visualise their designs as real Formula cars on a race track. 🔹 Part Two brought the project to life at the iconic Yas Marina Circuit. Students enjoyed behind-the-scenes tours of the team villas, control rooms, Shams Tower, and watched live Yas3000 racing. They raced their own Ethara GO cars, competed on a 20-metre track, tested reaction times on a live leaderboard, explored F1 simulators, and finished the experience with karting on the track. This project empowered students to think like engineers, designers, and innovators — building confidence, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving skills. 🏁 Formula Ethara: where STREAM learning meets speed.
