Did You Know Guidance and Child Study Center Ensuring Support for the Most Vulnerable Students

The Guidance and Child Study Center of Putnam | Northern Westchester BOCES works to ensure pathways to success for all students, with a focus on students who are the most vulnerable and marginalized, including those with mental health challenges. Faced with the knowledge that one in five young people experiences a mental health challenge and that suicide is the second leading cause of death among adolescents, schools are working hard to give students the support they need. The Guidance and Children Study Center provides training, coaching, targeted implementation guidance and onsite support to schools to help their students achieve successful lifelong outcomes.
