Today I am going to show you about mango cultivation in Dhankuta in this video. Most of Dhankuta is a pocket area of mango production. Maldah, Calcutta Bombay and other mangoes are growing in gardens on the banks of the Arun and Tamor rivers in Dhankuta district and are being sold in full swing. Mango found in the summer season Dhankuta municipality ward no. 9 Mangoes are cultivated on a large scale in Chimsuwa. There are 64 hectares of land here. All the farmers have been cultivating mangoes. Aap is the main source of income for the residents of Chimsuwa. More than half of the total aap production area of the district is produced in this area. Self-cultivation is being done in a total area of 85 hectares in the district. Out of which, only about 45 hectares of apa cultivation has been done in this area. Farmers are busy picking mangoes at this time. Apart from this, mangoes are cultivated in Famametar, Saptingtar, Safaidhap, Chanuwa, Damar and other areas on the banks of Tamor and Arun rivers. According to the statistics of Krishi Gyan Kendra Dhankuta, mango was cultivated in Dhankuta last year in an area of 53.5 hectares per hectare. From that, 174.5 metric tons of different types of mangoes were produced.
