Allegro in C major

Back with another video! Today I am posting a short allegro I composed back in November 2025 but only got round to uploading it to the channel now. It's in a short conventional sonata form structure, not very difficult to play, making it good for it's intended purpose for sight reading practice. The first 4 bars of the piece are not written by me, but by Mozart himself. This was discovered amongst his papers and sketches after his death. I just happened to stumble across this fragment whilst looking through the Neue Mozart Ausgabe online. Playing through it in my head, then on the piano, felt nice and I considered it a real shame for it to be incomplete in that state. So I have doney best to complete this piece, not trying to truly imitate Mozart, but to channel my own style through it as well. As always I hope you enjoy it! Desmo
