Subscribe for more upcoming tutorials: / @jessepitelavfx In this tyFlow for 3Ds Max tutorial we're using the voronoi fracture operator in a way you might not be aware of - to create horizontal or vertical cuts / slices. This technique can be used to create a variety of abstract motion design effects, such as slicing fruit, cutting objects in cool ways and much more. We're using the spread operator as well as some forces to complete the effect. Material ID operator is used to assign different materials to the inner faces of the cuts. Vray is used for rendering here.
