The base model for the character in this video was created in DAZ Studio. However, OpenArt AI wouldn't accept the DAZ-created image for character art. Apparently, the DAZ character looked too young. Maybe the skin was too smooth...? I tried adding HD details and applying facial morphs to create an older looking character, without making her look too old (I wanted an 18-20-year-old character). Nothing was working. I couldn't use Nano Banana Pro to modify my lovely lady to look older, as Nano Banana Pro was rejecting her. But I didn't want to give up on the look I had in mind. I recalled that Grok Imagine had more lax restrictions, so I fed my image to Grok Imagine and it accepted her. After a couple iterations in Grok Imagine, I had something that Nano Banana Pro would accept, and I finished creating 2K base images for the character with Nano Banana Pro, which I then fed into OpenArt AI's character creation engine, and it finally accepted them. Once I had my character created, I used her model in Kling 3.0 Omni with a number of text prompts to create the various segments in the video. I wanted a variety of types of shots, and Kling did well with most of my prompts. I made use of the prompt enhancer feature in OpenArt AI for a few of the segments, which helped with the more complicated segments in the video. I generated each segment at 15 seconds in length, and queued up to six segments simultaneously. Only one of the 15-second segments needed to be trimmed to 11 seconds, due to an unrealistic arm movement. After that, my prompts contained verbiage requesting that all generated dance moves be realistic. It apparently helped. Some of the finger movements still look a bit strange, but not so badly that I felt I couldn't use them. Each Kling 3.0 Omni 15-second video segment without audio cost me 525 credits, and all together I generated 21 different video segments, for a total credit expenditure of 11,025 credits for the dancing scenes. I didn't generate any starting or ending frames for the video, merely using my consistent character model and a text prompt for each segment. I didn't want one long continuous, connected stream of movement from the dancer, so I didn't need start and end frames. To prevent the 15-second intervals from feeling too predictable, I arranged to have two segments showing simultaneously in places. In one case, I shrunk a segment and placed it in a corner of the screen. In other cases, I generated 9:16 proportional segments that I then laid on top of the main timeline segments, adding a red border to separate them out. In one case, I had fun with making the character in the main segment reach past the border. I used Pinnacle Studio 26 Ultimate to lay out the video segments on the timeline. I considered applying some transitions between the video segments, but, nah, I liked the raw cuts better. I only tried a couple transitions and then got rid of them. I made use of Blend options in Pinnacle Studio in a few places to get some of the effects, such as having the character break through the 3D text. The song, Don't Break Me Zelda, which I had originally titled, Break Me Zelda, was written in early October, 2025, and are my original lyrics. The song was written about a young woman from my youth on whom I had a crush, but was never brave enough to act on it. She would have been too much for me to handle anyway back then, I'm quite sure as I look back on it now. That was roughly 50 years ago. I don't know what became of her, but she'll live in my heart to the day I die. There are a few other ladies I can say that about, so it's not that big a deal. But, hey, she got a song written about her. That's something. :) I uploaded an earlier version of this video to YouTube, but after doing so, had it pointed out to me that the phrase, "break me," sounded a lot like, "bring me."
