Russia's Vystrel 4x4 armored vehicle will carry the Epoch BM-30D RCWS Turret

The Russian Central Research Institute Burevestnik has reportedly started serial production of the Epoch BM-30D remote-operated turret (RCWS) for mounting on the Vystrel armored vehicle. The Epoch BM-30D RCWS turret is armed with one 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannon and one 7.62 mm PKTM coaxial machine gun. It also includes an optoelectronic array mounted on the turret including day/night vision, infrared camera and laser rangefinder. This type of turret allows the gunner to direct and control all firing operations from within the hull and under armor protection. Meanwhile, the Vystrel lightweight vehicle, also known as the BPM-97, has been produced by the Kamaz automotive company since 2009.
