Welcome to my studio! Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes on my biggest sublimation project to date: creating 1,000 custom coffee mugs, featuring a beautiful, gourmand-inspired design. This project has been a true creative journey. In this video, you’ll get a complete, behind-the-scenes look at the entire sublimation process. I will begin with unpacking and carefully inspecting each mug. Then I move on to prepping the mugs, organizing everything on my workstation, and wrapping each piece with the design prints and protective butcher paper. Managing a project of this size takes a lot of planning for keeping everything smooth, organized, and high quality throughout each stage. With my mug press heated and ready, it’s time to get to sublimating! Every mug is carefully pressed to ensure the colors are vibrant, sharp, and true to the designs. I love the reveal moment – seeing each mug go from a blank canvas to a beautifully detailed piece, ready to be used and enjoyed by its new owner.
