Is This The ULTIMATE VR Combat Flight Sim? // Aces of Thunder PCVR Gameplay

Is Aces of Thunder the ultimate VR combat flight sim? Is it the VR dogfight simulator we've all been waiting for? Well one thing is for sure, Aces of Thunder is much less of an arcadey VR combat flight sim than I was expecting, during my time with this early PC VR preview build I spent more time in tailspins, watching my wings get blown off and seeing myself explode in a giant ball of fire than actually engaging in VR dogfights... this is a VR combat flight simulator with a learning curve and one that rewards patience & persistence! Aces of Thunder VR is shaping up to be the ultimate VR combat flight sim if the developers can ensure the final product launches with a few tweaks absent from this version; this early Aces of Thunder preview build gave me access to a handful of single player missions, the mission editor mode and the online PVP modes but did not provide me with a tutorial or any graphics options that I could amend. The games UI/indicators for enemy targets could also use some polish, at times it was difficult to figure out the difference between the enemy aircraft and the allied aircraft, some times a blue diamond indicated enemies and other times it indicated foes. Ground based targets are also almost impossible to spot as they have no marker or UI elements to help them stand out against the backdrop of whatever location you are flying over. These issues are almost certainly easy fixes and might be addressed when the game launches with a, hopefully, helpful tutorial that covers all the basics.
