This is a late upload of my hike at the Brushy Peak Regional Preserve in Livermore, California, USA. It's back in March 8th, 2022, when some of the grasses were still green. We wanted to hike alongside the wind turbines which is why we chose this hike. It was windy and cool, but did get hot as we started going up hill towards Brushy Peak itself. It was super windy on top of certain hills along the trails. We started at the Brushy Peak Loop Trail Head then later connected to the western part of the West Side Loop Trail to end our hike. We saw that most hikers prefer starting from the West Side Loop Trail and ending at the Brushy Peak Loop Trail Head. This trail allows people and their dogs, plus bicyclists and horses as well. It is also a cattle grazing area, according to signs we saw. It should take an average hiker a little more than 2 hours to complete, but it took us more because we were stopping a lot for photos and videos. All videos were taken with my Huawei Mate 40 Pro, a smartphone from 2020. I used only the wide angle camera and recorded at 4K 60FPS. The gimbal I used is a Hohem iSteady X2. No other editing was done to any of the video clips except for adding transitions between clips when creating this video. So, what you see is kinda what you was shot from the smartphone. Oh yeah, and the same thing is still happening to my videos, if you watch it in 1440P or 4K even though your device don't support it (just click on that setting), you'll get a much better quality video than using the 1080P setting or lower. I still haven't figured out why it is like that.
