The dos and don'ts of teaching English in France! Here are all (or at least a lot) of my tips for teaching English in France. That being said, most of these dos and don'ts are also relevant tips for teaching English abroad in general. I've compiled these tips on teaching English in France (and/or tips for teaching abroad) after my TAPIF experience, as well as several subsequent years of teaching in the US. While I feel super comfortable in the classroom now, this was NOT always the case. In fact, when I first started teaching English in France, I had minimal teaching experience, and learned how to lesson plan the hard way. From lots of trial and error (and collaboration!), I learned so many tips on teaching abroad, as well as tips for teaching English to French students specifically. In this video, I share much of what I had learned on the job during TAPIF, from lesson planning to classroom rapport to technical difficulties. I hope this helps anyone preparing to teach English abroad as well! As always, thank you for your support, and don't forget to like and subscribe! Okay, let's bla bla about the dos and don'ts of teaching English in France. C'est parti!
