New Jersey Motorsport Park Lightning - Session 3 [Stock 2012 370z]

Welcome to my Youtube channel! I have started to upload all of my track day sessions to have a centralized location to review notes, instructor comments, etc. This was my Third HPDE event. The track setup was New Jersey Motorsport Park, Lightning. This was a NASA NE event (HPDE 1). The car I am driving in this video is a bone stock 2012 Nissan 370z. Tires: BFG Sport Comp 2 Some notes from this track day: The car performed very well in it's stock form. After my first track day, I used DOT 4 fluid rather than the stock DOT 3. The brakes performed much better than my first track day, although the temperature was much cooler and my braking was much better this time. The oil temperature was much hotter than the first track day. I noted that the temperature got up to 260 degrees. The car did not go into limp mode but we kept the hood opened between sessions to cool the car off. Power steering felt soft, fluid smelled burnt. PS fluid temp 160 degrees. Date: 11 - 04 -2017 Ambient Temp: 44 degrees Starting Tire Pressure: 31 PSI Needed to reduce 2 PSI tire pressure throughout the day.
