Couldn't resist to check how my gear sounds playing an all time classics song. I'm playing with my selfmade SD Guitars Single Cut (an LP replica w/ wenge fretboard) plugged directly to a Marshall JTM45 copy that I made, too. I'm using a 2mm thick pick that I made from an Ultex sheet. JTM MV on 10. Plugged on the treble channel, only, fully crunked at the solo part (all EQ pots on 10 but the Bass on 2). Rhythm part was played with the channel volume at 6 and the middles rolled back a little. I played the bass part w/ my Jazz Bass Special ('87) on a HARTKE head through a 2X12 cab (miced w/ the SM57). Drums programmed on the midi editor. I had to sing, too! Cab:1X12 Celestion Vintage 30, in an ISOBOX Mics used: an SM57 close to the cab and a T-bone condenser mic in the ISOBOX to capture the "room" (as room as it can gets in there...) Mics plugged on a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, connected on a Win10 PC. DAW: Studio One 3. Guitars and bass tracks were recorded with one take and no audio editing besides a low cut filter and a little bit of reverb (no other EQ/Compression/Automation in the mix). For more info about my gear please check some other videos in my channel.
