I have learned a lot from this project, it is too difficult to get the crankshaft positioning sensor from under the vehicle unless you have a mirror or a small camera to position yourself to cleanly take out the sensor and put it back in. So taking off the Intake manifold, starter and slowly going through that disassembly process is much easier. While you are there and your vehicle has over 110,000 km, I recommend changing the starter while you’re at it. I purchased all parts through rock auto for less than $200 Canadian. Be very careful when you are tightening the aluminum bolts they will break. You will need new bolts for the starter and crank shaft positioning sensor. Any questions please let me know.
