On Wednesday 13th March 2024, we visited Manchester to film more of the Metrolink in action. There were plenty of new (for us) adverts as well as brand new ones applied the day before our visit. We filmed: 3023 Maybelline (extra front adverts) 3028 Asahi beer 3038 Get on Board 3047 AO arena 3061 Rochdale town hall (now open) 3079 Say Yellow to the Bee Network 3081 Delicia Drench intense moisture (seen from distance stabled at Trafford Depot) 3091 Starling Bank 3102 Starling Bank It is interesting that 3091 and 3102 are advertising Starling Bank. Previously the adverts were carried on 3081 and 3092, eleven numbers apart but the numbers have gone up by 10 - thanks to Gareth Prior at britishtramsonline.co.uk for spotting this statistic). We also filmed at Wythenshawe Park, Northern Moor and Sale Water Park thus completing our second visit down the Airport branch and we filmed a "Cab ride" between Northern Moor and Sale Water Park and then from Sale Water Park to St.Werburgh's Road. We visited Broadway/Harbour Village junction to film the new order of things with Eccles trams taking the curve and not diverting to MediaCityUK as this service is now covered by the Etihad Campus to MediaCityUK line. Trams are still using 2CC to reach Exchange Square only, as the broken rail has still not been replaced at Victoria, and we filmed the temporary arrangement (if temporary is the correct word) with trams terminating at Exchange Square and Rochdale trams having to use 1CC. Elsewhere, we filmed in Piccadilly Gardens, Mosley Street and St.Peter's Square with a couple of trams on Aytoun Street as we returned to Piccadilly for our return train ride.
