The Maseke Black Mamba trainees spent a week with us at Campfire Academy to learn skills and acquire knowledge to keep them both safe and successful in the bush. On the last day we walked the women down Animal Alley to see if they remembered the correct thing to do when animals charge.. our thanks to the charging animals - hippo & lion, Emi and buffalo, Sarah :p The trainees - and Bosveld - practised their parade marches; and had some fun along the way - an impala dung-spitting competition, line dancing - and were serenaded by the King of the Bush...
