This video shows my latest Lego Technic MOC, the Claas Jaguar 980 Terra Trac forage harvester with Orbis 900 header and it´s features. It is a partial alternate build of the Lego Technic #42100 Liebherr R9800 Excavator and consists of 3465 parts. This means that everything you need to build it yourself is the 42100 Set by Lego plus two of the Lego #42129 Zetros wheels and my instructions. The model uses all 7 motors and 2 hubs of the 42100 set. The instructions also provide the option to install working headlights into the harvester. The harvester features several electronic functions: It can drive and steer. The header can be raised and lowered as well as folded and unfolded. The harvesting mechanisms in the header can be activated. The spout on the harvesters back can be lowered, raised and rotated. There are some manual functions, too: The track frames can be transformed into grass-mode. The side panels of the harvester can be opened to reveal the two hubs for an easy battery exchange. The harvester features a combined on-switch to activate both hubs. The rear axle has a pendular suspension. The Orbis 900 header can be detached from the harvester.
