The Mercedes GLE Hybrid is set to receive its second facelift, with U.S. deliveries set to begin in 2026. Though not a full redesign, the update will introduce key enhancements in design, technology, and electrification. The exterior is expected to adopt an illuminated grille, aligning the GLE with higher-end Mercedes models. Digital Light headlamps, potentially available as a post-purchase upgrade, and new rear lights featuring the star motif seen on the latest E-Class will modernize the SUV’s appearance. Inside, the global-spec 2026 GLE should offer the optional MBUX Superscreen and active ambient lighting. It is also expected to gain Mercedes’ latest MB.OS software, enabling advanced driver-assist features with Level 2++ autonomous capability. Upgrades should include a Burmester 4D sound system and a more capable 48-volt full-hybrid setup paired with a 3.0-liter inline-six engine.
