Welcome back :) Today we are flying from London Heathrow to Singapore. London is a flagship destination for Singapore Airlines (SIA), along with Sydney. SIA operates four daily flights to Heathrow and has added flights to London Gatwick. As a member of Star Alliance, SIA flights depart from the Queen's Terminal 2. The airline has its own lounge in London: SilverKris Lounge First and Business. The lounge has been closed in February 2024 for minor refurbishments. Lucky me, it reopened few days before my flight. So far, it's the most beautiful SilverKris Lounge First I have experienced. In my opinion, it's even better than The Private Room in SIA hub in Singapore Changi. Once onboard, I had, as usual, an excellent welcome from the SQ Girls & Boys. But the most surprising news was the low occupancy rate on Suites class on the flight: I was the only passenger. On a long-haul flight, especially from London, it's very rare. Even the cabin crew didn't expect it. So, let me invite you to this ALL BY MYSELF Suites flight from London to Singapore.
