In this video we'll talk about elision in connected speech: it's a tutorial about the basics of disappearing sounds in under 3 minutes! Elision is an important part of English pronunciation and I focus on British English pronunciation. When we want to speak quickly and more naturally, some sounds disappear. In the video, I'll show you which sounds disappear in different words in sentences. The video is divided into what elision is and then the second part of the video is about elision in informal speech. You should watch all of the video to get the whole idea.
