http://andymathis.blogspot.com Lucky is the kitten I took in on Christmas Eve to get her out of harms way. She has a congenital birth defect called atresia ani, where her lower colon doesn't develop properly. So she ended up with a rectovaginal fistula between her rectum and vagina. It can be corrected with surgery. She had a surgery consult this week at the UGA Teaching Hospital where they have set up a fund for her to cover the cost of surgery.
