You'll notice that during our videos, many faces are covered by emojis. We're often asked why we do that. During editing, I will try to always cover my kids' faces. I want them to retain their privacy for as long as possible. When they grow up, they can decide whether they want their faces on the Internet or not for themselves. But that's not a decision I'm going to make for them as kids. I also try to preserve the privacy of those around me. You'll notice many other faces either have emojis or are blurred out. My intention is that if anyone gets close enough to my camera to be in the foreground, or if I accidentally capture any kind of undignified activity (even in the distant background), I will attempt to make that person unrecognizable by either blurring or covering their faces. This is a time-consuming process. It's completely manual, and I'm not perfect at it. I ask for grace if you notice where I missed, or forgiveness if you recognize yourself in our videos. At the same time, many other channels publish the same kind of videos and make zero effort to preserve your privacy. So please don't be too upset with me for making mistakes while others don't even make the effort. And I talked with a LOT of staff over our visit, and I asked if they minded if I recorded. No staff members indicated any problems. I tried to cover the faces of those I forgot to ask.
