He argues that while some of the OG artists are still producing quality music, there is an overabundance of lackluster music due to its popularity rather than its quality and appeal. The MC also recalls an incident involving rapper Lil Uzi Vert and criticizes the flamboyant antics of today's hip-hop stars — such as painting their nails — as deviancies from the genre's traditionally masculine image. Although bemused by these changes, Spice 1 underscores their commitment to their own style without adhering to current trends.
