When Blake pushes him it's kinda like an intervention and Aaron is forced to fight his inner demons(The two beating on him). He struggles through it and you see blake is like the voice of reason trying to get him to change. The shot with Aaron in the hall is him trying to find himself. At the end he sees the light and is helped up by the ones who care about him showing he is not alone.
