🌿 Echoes of Edith – Make #7 – Part 2: The Cover & Closure Hello, I’m Faith from Faith ’n Grits! I’ve always wanted to create a journal inspired by Edith Holden’s Country Diary, and I’m finally diving in. The “EH style” is full of delicate botanicals, graceful hand-lettering, and a colour palette drawn straight from nature—where every season has its place. I’m back with the final look at Echoes of Edith for a little while. She isn’t finished or complete by any means, but she is ready to go to her first Keeper (or, stay with me - not sure yet.) In this video, I’m sharing the empty signatures now bound into the cover, a new Ex Libris card with a little twist, and all the bespoke handmade writing cards and tags tucked inside. I’m also showing my very first wraparound journal cover, crafted from a smaller base journal and finished with vintage lace. As my first EH-inspired project, I’m so happy with how she has come together out of my gathered materials and experiments. #junkjournal #junkjournaling #faithngrits
