You may already know that my favorite childhood air conditioner is a National CS-7/915KH just like the one I used to have in my ex-haunted house, which I couldn't take with me when we moved out of that house. Fortunately, a 915KC volunteered to be a part of mine so that I can own a childhood air conditioner again! (although I'm not using it in my house). But, there is actually one more air conditioner that is also a part of my childhood since I saw a lot of them all over the place back in my childhood times, I used to have one in my grandparents' house (before it gets replaced by National Organix CS-C58KJ). It's even more favorite than a CS-7/915KH/KC and has been my favorite too since I saw a lot of them a decade ago, and that air conditioner is the one that you're seeing in this video! They used to be very common as Daikin FTC series back in the day. But they are now very rare due to a lot of the units were replaced by newer units caused some were aging, some are broken, and most of them are replaced for rejuvenation reasons although they are still very cold. I believe the ones that were replaced caused by broke down have happened right after they're passed a dozen years (or even a few decades) because you know, the build quality of National back in the day, veerryy far compared to today's Panasonic. They are veerryy reliable! They will not occur many problems as long as you maintain them well. But if you don't care about it and keep using it as your daily beater, a problem does occur, but I believe that'll happen many years later (since the ones I found that were broken from careless use happened right after the unit passed a lot of years). Proven very reliable! Yep, this is my biggest childhood air conditioner that I've been wanting to have again right after I saw a lot of these in my playgroup and kindergarten pre-school (and of course, right after the one in my grandparents' house is replaced). It's a VEEERRYYY LEGEND air conditioner ever for me! That's why I really wanted to have one again for myself since I was little, and my parents never allowed me every I ask them to get a 2.0 hp dual-swing National AC/National 1803KH (since judging by the cooling capacity size, it's intended for large rooms so the power consumption was very huge, and that would be inefficient if we install it in our house, especially in small bedrooms). So I let myself keep patient and believe that I'll own one of these in the future. After I have this YouTube channel and made money from it (exactly in 2018), I decided to find this 2.0 hp National for sale again, but only found a single or two units that were up for sale due to their rarity, and the price was insanely expensive so I couldn't buy it due to my limited budget. Long short story, a few months ago this year (exactly in July), a friend of mine found an ad that sells National 1803KH at a very low price. I thought it was a much more common model of National AC (precisely a C18BKN, since they were commonly found for sale in online shops). But when I opened the link, the AC turned out to be a 1803KH! I directly contacted the seller, and the seller said that the unit is still available! I transferred my money to the seller right after a few discussions regarding its condition. And yeah, my dream to have a National CS-1803KH has finally come true! It's actually complete with the original outdoor unit as in this video:    • 1803KH condensing fan test run  , but the outdoor unit's been painted black by the previous owner, and the compressor unfortunately broke. I was only able to show the condensing fan running in that video. And finally, I decided to sell the outdoor unit since I have no idea what I'm gonna do with it (and to be honest, now I regretted it a lot that I decided to sell the outdoor unit since they are extremely hard to find 🙃). But for the indoor unit, it's in relatively great condition. The yellowing is still acceptable, and previously it comes with a National C_6KJ remote. Later I bought the grey 1990s National remote that is very identical to the original remote. The light indicators are previously malfunctioning, the power light flickering, and the Sleep light doesn't work. But they are now fixed after I re-soldered the Power light, and replaced the Sleep light bulb. The rest are totally fine, and although it has a malfunction as occurred at 10:34, I still really liked it a lot! And it uniquely utilized a DC fan motor too that turned out to be very powerful!
