Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to my channel for more tutorials! This was my very first DIY tutorial video! How to make a wine rack In this video I show you how to repurpose a board to make a wine rack. I introduce wood staining, using a power drill, and manipulating leather to make little stirrups for wine bottles! The wooden board I use in this video is from the old boardwalk in Long Beach NYC that got destroyed by hurricane Sandy. Before they tore it all down and threw it away, I was able to salvage parts of it to use in DIY projects. Very affordable project-- Total cost: $33 repurposed wood: free stain: $5 gloss: $5 leather: $16 screws: $7 All of my projects are about repurposing found materials into functional decorations using inexpensive tools. Each one of my videos gives detailed instructions that are easy to follow even if you've never done anything like it. Actually, much of the time what you see me doing in the video is the first time I'm doing it! So if you're interested in DIY but haven't used any tools or made anything from scratch, go ahead jump into it! The best part about DIY is that you can make it into anything you want. As always, please LIKE, SHARE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE! Thanks for watching! More DIY videos to come!
