In this woodworking project, I build a handmade keepsake box from solid wood using traditional joinery techniques. What started as a simple wooden memory box as a gift turned into a much more complicated build than I expected. This keepsake box was meant to be personal, nothing fancy, just clean lines and careful craftsmanship. But halfway through the project, I wasn’t sure I even wanted to finish it.
