Garmin Enduro 3 Trail Navigation Map was clear and crisp, route and direction of travel was clearly marked with red and small arrow chevrons, and the distance to the next turn was easy to read. That said... I was not impressed, to put it lightly. It seems that TracBack is gone. Or, the TracBack from my old Fēnix 3, is gone. The new TracBack is fraudulent, giving no alarms or warnings when you go off the path/route/track, and no sort of confirmation that you ARE ON THE RIGHT PATH. It doesn't even alert you to take an upcoming turn, like the normal navigation does. It makes little sense. I miss the old version. As for picking a point on the watch's map...it seems that you can only use certain apps that will actually calculate a route based on paths/roads/trails rather than a straight as-the-crow-flies line from "start" to "finish", which is rarely possible to actually traverse. Part of the overall sour experience may be due to my own ignorance of the watch's features. Let me know if I'm just a ding dong who doesn't know how to use the dang watch!
