COCKPIT VISIT!!!! TUI Airways Boeing 737-8K5 (WL) London Stansted to Ibiza, Spain [G-TAWL]

4K! All footage mine, unless otherwise stated Join me as I embark, for the third time this year, on a flight, and for the second time in the space of a month. This time not to anywhere Italian or Greek, but to the Balearic Island of Ibiza in Spain. Onboard TUI flight BY5622 from London Stansted onboard 10 year old G-TAWL with the Sky Interior. This whole thing was just a breeze, we got onboard at 08.15 and pushed back 5 minutes early at 08.30! Taxiing out to London Stansted's Runway 22, with no big stops or waits, with power applied while still moving and the captain taxied almost straight onto the runway, for an intersection departure, and we were off! No sitting and waiting! Taking off on Stansted's Runway 22 in a south-westerly direction before banking to the right to form a "Z" shape over Stansted before turning left and towards Ibiza, past London Heathrow, and up to our cruising altitude of 35,000feet, with eventually increased to 37,000feet over the Pyrenees to avoid turbulence. Unfortunately most of the flight was overcast, until we hit the Barcelona area where it cleared up and we got some nice views of the Balearic Islands including Palma De Mallorca, Formentera and Menorca before starting our decent over Ibiza before making a left turn to join the beautiful approach onto yet again, a Runway numbered 6 and making a harsh touchdown 3 minutes early and taxiing straight onto stand. I should say the crew were just lovely, interacting with passengers and having laughs over the PA, and especially the captain (Shoutout to Gavin) for letting me FILM in the cockpit and giving permission to post as I pleased! (And sorry for delaying the flight back 🤭) All in all, I couldn't fault the actual crew at all, they worked in a professional yet VERY friendly manner for the duration of the flight, pushing us back early and just scraping an on time arrival. Thumbs up. Apologies for the pretty annoying kid sat behind me, who gave a running commentary of take-off, and for the chanting after landing as we were pushing onto stand. He also was kicking into my seat for the majority of the flight. But we all did that at that age, so can't really blame. A special shoutout and "thank you" to First Officer Gavin and to Captain Andy for giving up their time, to allow an avgeek into the flight deck, along with all the other children too. Cheers.
