What makes a weapon overall good? Range: The more range a weapon has, the better it is for frontline and skirmish (teamfight) as it will allow you to easier target switch on to opponents and from further distances which shorter weapons can't do very well. It's even strong in duels too since it will be harder for your opponent to leanback or footwork away from your attacks because your weapon reaches longer Damage: This one is simple. More damage = better overall since more damage on a weapon does not mean in Mordhau that it's harder to hit someone with. A lot of the time it's quite the opposite actually. More damage means less hits to kill someone. Stamina Drain: if a weapon drains more stamina on an opponent it's good overall but strongest in duels. Every single smaller weapon especially 1 handed weapons all lack stamina drain Slow Weapon: if a weapon is ''slow'' that gives it more time to manipulate the swing meaning that you can do bigger drags and still be able to mix them up with very fast accels from riposte Simply put: the bigger the better!
