Join us for an adventure-filled weekend exploring the breathtaking beauty of Tallulah Gorge State Park and the surrounding North Georgia mountains! We tent camped at River Campground om Lakemont, GA, and despite the daily rain, made the best of our weekend! From the iconic North and South Rim Trails at Tallulah Gorge to the 1,000+ stairs down to the suspension bridge and gorge floor, we got our steps in and then some. We also visited some nearby waterfalls, including Minnehaha Falls, Panther Falls, and Angel Falls. We made time to check out downtown Clayton and grabbed dinner one night at the charming Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant. Though we didn’t get to do the full gorge floor permit hike this time around, we still covered a ton of ground, soaked in incredible views, and got some amazing footage along the way.
