Using a weapon with fire element is a good idea, as much as you can equip decos to minimize the level of threat. Learning from own mistakes is the best way to improve the gameplay, so that playing solo really gives you time to improve. Of course, multi-play is fun as well. But the first time encounter always is the most time to enjoy, so that you can leave multi-play for later. Longsword in this game is somewhat the mixture of dual blades and sword and shield.
