St Albans Cathedral Wonderful Art and Architecture

Unlike other churches and cathedrals which carry the name of a saint. This cathedral is not only named after St Alban it contains the mortal remains of Saint Alban (see 1m 15s). Two saints are better than one. This venue also contains the remains of Saint Amphibalus (see 3m 23). The cathedral sports a wonderful array of stained glass and the most fantastic Wallingford Screen (see 0m 07s, 1m 03s, 3m 09s and 3m 44s); a colourful display of statues of saints and other religious worthies around the figure of Christ on the cross. It reminds me of an indoor version of the light show at Amiens Cathedral in one of my previous videos (Amiens Cathedral Spectacular Light Show    • Amiens Cathedral Spectacular Light Show  ).
